What’s a time-conscious family to do? A freezer bag and your slow stove are the solution.
We have chosen the following 10 recipes for their variety of flavors, but you can adjust the spices to your taste.

Beef Fajitas
Freeze in a bag:
2 pounds boneless beef shoulder roast
2 bell peppers, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon honey
juice of 1 lime
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon crushed red bell pepper flakes Cook on low heat for 8 hours. Shred the beef with two forks.
Served best along side fresh guacamole, sour cream, and warm tortillas.

Chicken with ginger and peaches
Freeze in a bag:
2 pounds of chicken thighs or breast boneless and skinless
12-ounce bag of frozen peach slices
1 red onion, sliced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
2 teaspoons ground corianderBake at high temperature for 4-5 hours.
Serve with rice.
