Chocolate for weight loss

Chocolate for weight loss: All chocolate lovers are in for a surprise! A recent study has found that even white chocolate (like dark chocolate) can help burn body fat.

We all know that dark chocolate can help with weight loss. Various studies around the world have shown that a cube of dark chocolate has the ability to reduce cravings and curb appetite – these factors can aid weight loss. But did you know that even milk chocolates can help burn body fat? That’s right! A recent study found that eating milk chocolate “during a narrow window of time in the morning” can promote weight loss. In addition, the study, conducted on a group of postmenopausal women, showed that it can help control blood sugar levels. The FASEB Journal published the findings.

This study was conducted jointly by researchers from Brigham University and experts from the University of Murcia in Spain. It was a controlled crossover study with 19 menopausal women. They ate either 100 grams of chocolate in the morning (within an hour of waking up) or in the evening (within an hour before going to bed). At the end of the study, the experts came to four interesting conclusions. Let’s take a look at them.

How white chocolate helps burn fat :

1: Eating white chocolate in the Morning or at night did not lead to weight gain.

2: Eating chocolate in the morning or night can affect appetite, sleep, microbiota (Gut Health) composition and more.

3: High chocolate consumption in the morning can help burn fat and lower blood sugar.

4: Chocolate in the evening changes the metabolism of rest and exercise the next morning.

Study author Dr. Frank A.J.L Scheer explained, “Our findings underscore that not only ‘what’ we eat, but also ‘when’ we eat can influence the physiological mechanisms involved in regulating body weight.”

According to a report from ANI, corresponding author Dr. Marta Garaulet added that the study participants did not gain weight despite the increased caloric intake. In fact, they saw a steady decrease in appetite and cravings for sweets.

With all the above factors in mind, we recommend that you do not hesitate to enjoy white chocolate while dieting. But always remember: moderation is the key! Also, consult your doctor before adding anything new to your diet.
